The mission of the Meridian Transit System is to offer safe, affordable and reliable transportation to the City of Meridian to help promote a strong economy, protect our environment, conserve energy and enhance your way of life.

Whose riding MTS you ask? Professionals, elected officials, senior citizens, families, housekeepers, students at Meridian Community College, Meridian High School and MSU Meridian, people working and shopping at numerous shopping centers throughout Lauderdale County, people going to various hospitals, clinics & doctors offices and new citizens without transportation.
